100 Days to Brave for KidsSample

Why Be Brave?
It is scary to be who you’re meant to be. It doesn’t feel easy, because it’s not. But we were made for this. Like today’s scripture says, we have holy work to do. Why be brave? Because when we’re brave enough to share the God stories in our lives, it changes the people around us. Remember when you saw that friend from the neighborhood go ALL THE WAY across the monkey bars for the first time and then you thought you could maybe do that too? Seeing other people be brave makes us want to be brave as well. It has a domino effect. It is like confetti at a party, or snowflakes falling from the sky. When you are brave, it gets on everyone around you and helps them feel braver. And it changes YOU too!
We want to be brave because we want to be exactly who God made us to be, live the story He has for our lives, and not miss out on any good thing because of fear.
What’s your God story? How has God changed you? What things have happened in your life that made it better?
