Psalms Streak: A Daily Devotional in the PsalmsSample

Turn and Do Good
Chapter 37 is a great Psalm. It is filled with nuggets of wisdom and encouragement for Christ followers. David speaks of the fleeting wealth of the wicked versus the eternal inheritance of those who trust, delight, commit, who are patiently still, and doing good.
Multiple times David reminds us to not fret - to not give in to anxiety - because it will lead you away from God’s goodness. Instead, turn from it and do good.
GO DEEP: When anxiousness comes (and it will), how do you respond? Do you let it consume you, or do you trust and hope in the Lord? What good things can you do now in your home, school, or community? Are you already doing those things or do you need to make an action plan today?
BE BOLD: Who needs to hear this? Who could you share it with?
