SoulSister: Galatians 2:20 [A Study On Identity]

DAY 7 OF 8

BLOODLINE Where we came from or what we used to be does not define our identity. Our identity is not in our past; our identity is in Christ. It's not based off of who our parents are when we receive Christ. Yeah, our daddy may have been an addict or our mama might have been an alcoholic. Maybe there's a bloodline of stuff, but in Christ, all of that has died. We have a new and pure bloodline, and this bloodline is full of righteousness. Our identity now is Him. Our identity is not abuse, alcoholism, rape, drugs, pimping, sexual immorality, lying, murdering, stealing, deceit, bitterness, anger, rage, fighting, manipulation, witchcraft, or whatever else may be floating around in your past bloodline. YOUR BLOODLINE IS CLEANSED! We don't live in or continue to walk through our past. We live and walk boldly in our Christ-given future. The more that we seek Jesus, the more we will know and embrace who our Father is. He created us. Christ grafted us into this bloodline. Christ is the Son of God. If we are in Christ, and Christ is in us, then it is no longer us who live, but it is Christ who lives in us. Take the time and focus on learning who God the Father is, who Christ is, and who the Holy Spirit is in our lives. Learn the Holy Trinity and the Deity of God. As we continue to know who God is, who Jesus Christ is, what Jesus has done, what His attributes are, and what HIs mind is like [because we now have the mind of Christ], then we will become more acclimated with who we are and what is in us. We will learn our identity, we will walk boldly in that, and we won't boast. We can't boast anyway because we're dead to ourselves but alive in Christ.
