Moments for Mums: Endure - Part 2Sample

Motherhood comes with new experiences, much uncertainty, endless decisions, and many responsibilities. Sometimes a mum can feel alone and isolated. 

When facing overwhelming decisions or situations, remember you don’t need to do this on your own. 

You are the work of God’s hands, and he does not abandon you. He is with you always. His enduring love is your support. 

David knew the pain of isolation. He also knew the certainty of God’s love.

Psalm 138:8 has three parts:

1. At the start, David makes a confident assertion about God. In the end, he makes a confident request of God.

2. Focus on the bit in the middle where David describes God’s love: it endures forever.

3. David’s confidence was firmly placed in God’s enduring love. This is our confidence also.

Is there an uncertainty you are facing this week that you can bring to God?

Thank you, God, for your love and faithfulness. Please help me bring my uncertainties to you and rest confidently in your enduring love.
