30-Second Spark 3Sample

8. First Things First
Once, the Sanhedrin arrested Peter and John over their healing of a lame man. When they left the livid legalists unscathed, they went straight to their people and reported all they said.
Prayer to God erupted spontaneously. They reminded God and themselves of who God is. They recounted God’s purpose being fulfilled despite animosity toward Jesus. Their only appeal was for great boldness to speak God’s Word.
After praying, the place shook, Holy Spirit filled them all, and God immediately answered their one request.
Let’s be people of God who acknowledge him before we ask of him.
