Olivia and I did not like each other. Our personalities clashed at school. One Sunday, Olivia and her family came to visit us at church. The more Olivia and I became a part of the same community, the more we found ourselves forming a friendship.
Because of Jesus, not only can we be connected to God, but we also have a community to grow with as we grow in our relationship with God. None of us like everyone we meet, but it is essential to give extra effort to those in your community.
Next time you are struggling with building a relationship with another Jesus-follower, remember loving them is a way to show appreciation and love for Jesus.
