Business Owners: 18 Bible Verses You Need to KnowSample

One of my favorite proverbs about money and business is Proverbs 13:11 “Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.”
God seems to like the slow and steady more than the “flash in the pan.” Sure there are times of accelerated growth and increase, but in general, when we do things God’s way with both business and money, they tend to grow more like a tree and less like that weed that just grew a foot overnight.
The thing is the tree that grows slowly is strong and is going to be able to withstand the storms. On the other hand, the weed that pops up quickly, can be destroyed quickly. As you seek to grow your business, focus on the slow and the steady ways of the Lord rather than the get-rich-quick methods the world tempts us with.
