Embrace the Race: Persevering Through Challenging TimesSample

Encouragement is something we are all in desperate need of, yet it is often missing from our lives and the lives of those around us. Throughout Paul's ministry, he would return to the churches he started to encourage them in their faith. All of us need encouragement in our walk with God. We all need someone to come beside us and push us on in our faith. Paul was setting an example for us that we are to live a life of encouragement. Luke writes in Acts 20:1-2 that Paul traveled and spoke many words of encouragement.
The writer of Hebrews says it perfectly in Hebrews 10:24-25. "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another- and all the more as you see the day approaching. "
