Foundational Principles for Spiritual GrowthSample

A RELATIONAL VISION OF CHRIST
Finally, we want to present a vision of what perfect maturity looks like. Christ is our template.
A mature believer embodies the cross-shaped life of Jesus:
- Intimately connected to the Father.
- Discipling, empowering, and unifying the family of God.
- Joyfully suffering and powerfully demonstrating the unconditional love of the Father to the world.
Jesus showed us how to live a life of intimacy with God. Jesus also showed us how to make disciples and live in unity with other believers. Finally, Jesus showed us how to love the unsaved.
As we hold this glorious vision of our saviour before us continually, I pray that we become more like Him.
