Sereniti- 30 Days to a New Start Sample

Are you committed?
Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him to help you do it, and He will. -Psalm 37:5 (NLT)
When you commit yourself to someone or something, it means that you put your all into it despite your feelings. Likewise, you can't enter into a relationship with someone without putting your all into it. The bottom line is: relationships demand investments.
It's the same with God: you can't have a relationship with your creator without there being commitment attached to it. Unless you're giving your all, you're not really giving anything. And what you believe is a relationship is just a figment of your imagination or a religious mental picture at best. It's not confirmed until you're invested.
God wants you to commit to Him as well as give your all to everything you do concerning Him because He's committed to your success. God gives us His best in exchange for our all. So trust Him to help you do it, and He will.
Meditation:
Psalm 37:3-5
Prayer:
Father, I admit that sometimes being committed is one of the hardest things to do. Things come up schedules change and life shifts. But I know that my commitment to you is an essential piece of my life's puzzle, even in all of that. So help me to understand where my commitment makes a difference in my life daily. In Jesus' name, Amen.
