Unleashing God’s Plan for the Good Life Imagine living every day filled with peace. Experiencing joy in every moment. Imagine being filled to overflowing because of God’s great love for you. Having access to an unwavering sense of security because of your absolute trust in your Father God. And all of this at work. Psalm 27:13 tells us we have access to God’s goodness right now. But are you tapping into that goodness continually in your work? Jesus came to show us how to enjoy a life filled with God’s best for us. He paid the price for our sins so we can have a relationship with the Father through him. Before Jesus left the earth, He told his disciples that it was good that he should go so he could send a Helper. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of you to teach, guide and strengthen you in the fruit of the Spirit. Your part is to unleash the Holy Spirit in your life through faith. The question is, are you living that good life and using this priceless gift so your work can be filled with joy? Trusting God is the key. God is faithful. His promises are true. His love for us is so great that he sent his only Son to die for our sins. Your view matters. When our view is filtered through the concerns of the world, it obstructs the kingdom view available to us. We need to clear the way to have a Kingdom view if we want to experience the good life no matter what else is going on around us each day. You’ll have to give something up―maybe a few somethings. Control, fear, doubt, busyness and blame are common obstructions to experiencing God’s best for us. You’ll need to replace those things rooted in fear with faith in God’s goodness to allow the Holy Spirit free reign in your life. Nothing could be more worth it! Prayer Lord Jesus, thank you for opening a way for us to experience your kingdom on earth. Thank you for making it possible for us to experience the good life at work even now. Help me to recognize what obstructs my view and release it so I can be more fully surrendered to you in faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
