Book of Revelation

DAY 6 OF 6

JERUSALEM, THE CITY OF GOD Revelation 19:5 Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!” Jerusalem is a small town in Israel that has always held the world's attention since a long time ago. Although the city does not have rich natural resources, it is always contested by nations. Yes, Jerusalem is the city of God. This is the city that will be the governmental center of the Millennial Kingdom of Peace that will be led by Jesus Christ himself. If Jesus Christ came for the first time as a servant, then in His second coming, Jesus will come as the King of all kings who will rule the earth for a thousand years. This kingdom will be called the Millennial Kingdom of Peace. Why peace? Today we can see wars and wickedness everywhere, but later everything will be peaceful because the enemy, the devil, will have been defeated, and will not exist on earth. Since a long time ago, the devil always tried to equate himself with God and tried to control Jerusalem. This is why the devil uses the kingdoms in the world to attack Jerusalem, the city of God. However, 'Eternal' Jerusalem cannot be ended. God in heaven wants to reveal that the peace that happens on earth for a thousand years will last to eternity. God’s purpose is to bring all of His people to the 'Eternal' Jerusalem. What will we do in 'Eternal' Jerusalem? We will praise and worship God and enjoy His holiness. There will be no more tears and sorrows. Maranatha, come, Lord Jesus, we long for You! God’s purpose is to bring His people to the 'Eternal' Jerusalem.
