All Change (Week 5)Sample

Day Three - I Can Grow to be Like Jesus
READ:
‘Jonah and the Big Fish’ in a Children’s Bible or Jonah 1:1 - 3:10
After Jonah had prayed, God told the Big Fish to spit Jonah out onto dry land. The fish did exactly what God told him. Remember, God created all things and so He can talk to all things.
God can turn all things for our good - read Romans 8:28 (ICB) or any other translation you prefer.
Jesus spent a lot of time praying and talking to God. Can you find scripture that tells us about Jesus praying? Ask your grownup to help you.
ASK:
Did you know that God loves you and hears every prayer you say?
Did you know that God loves it when you talk to Him? What do you want to tell God today?
REMEMBER:
Look at the new thing I am going to do.
It is already happening. Don’t you see it?
I will make a road in the desert.
I will make rivers in the dry land. (Isaiah 43:19)
SAY:
Thank you, Lord, that you have created us all unique and wonderful.
Help us to love you and everyone you have placed in our lives and
to become more like you every day - in Jesus name - Amen.
