SOAP: Acts 3:19 If we repent of our sins, our fellowship with Christ is restored, and He refreshes our heart with His peace and joy. As we turn from sin, His transforming power is poured into our lives. If you’ve ever played in the dirt, you know how great it feels to take a shower. Letting the water wash away the grime helps us to feel new again. Somehow, we tend to forget this principle in our spiritual lives. We feel dirty and weighed down by our fleshy choices, but we don’t take time to wash ourselves in the Word and apply His grace to our hearts. God longs to rain down His forgiveness and restore us. All we have to do is ask for His cleansing. Lord, we come running to Your altar today. Wash us clean and flood us with Your healing presence. We long for Your grace. Refresh our hearts. We cry out for more of You. Amen.
