Whose Is It?
David's wholehearted spirit of giving to the Lord was based on his understanding of who God really is. (2 Sam. 7:22). When we have a better picture of God, when we see Him in his splendor and majesty and power and recognize the Lord's many blessings, grace and mercy towards us, giving becomes so easy. You and I can be a person 'after God's own heart' too.
Prayer: Father God, help me see you in a new way today. Give me a glimpse of your splendor and majesty. And when I stand in awe of you, give me a heart to give and care and love as you do. Today, Father God, I dedicate all that I am and have to you. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
