Feed Your Faith

DAY 8 OF 8

"I meet needs to show my faith in Jesus!" Hebrews 13:16 tells us “sharing” sacrifices and “do good” sacrifices please God. A sacrifice is giving up something. When you see a need, you’re going to have to give up something you like so you can meet the need. Hebrews 13:16 tells us “sharing” sacrifices and “do good” sacrifices please God. If someone needs a snack, you have to give up some of your food. That’s a “sharing” kind of sacrifice. If someone needs a listening ear, you have to give up playing for a little while so you can sit and listen to them. That’s a “do good” kind of sacrifice. When you make a sacrifice to meet someone’s need, you feed your faith. Your faith grows bigger. When your faith is bigger, more people can see it and learn about Jesus from it! Make a Bible Balloon to help you remember Hebrews 13:16. Watch the Verse Motions video so you can share the Bible verse with your friends! Bible Balloon 1. Ask for some balloons and a permanent marker. 2. Write Hebrews 13:16 on the balloon with a permanent marker. You can use more than one balloon if it doesn’t fit. 3. Blow up the balloon. God’s Bible verse gets bigger. Remember, your faith can can get bigger, too! Talk It Over: Some people need things like food, clothes, or a place to stay. But there are other needs, like needing to know about Jesus, friendship, a listening ear, love, and prayer. What sacrifices can you make to meet those needs?
