While God never wanted us to have to experience what we have experienced (abuse, addiction, afflictions—all of which are a result of sin coming into in the world long ago and were not God’s original plan for man), He can use whatever it is we have suffered through to bring glory to Him. He does so in such a way that helps others as well. That is why we can take comfort in sharing our stories with those who need to hear them. But we have to step out in faith for God to use us.
