PROMPTED TO OVERCOME “Faith is the ability to see the impossible, believe the unbelievable, and receive the supernatural”-Azael Nunez A nationwide poll was taken in the United States on religious questions. When asked whether they believed in God, 95 percent of those polled answered “yes.” When asked whether religion in any way affected their politics and their business, 54 percent said “no.” They had a belief, but they did not have a direct faith. Faith is action. Faith encompasses the entire spectrum of life’s encounters and experiences. Faith is the conduit to the heart. Faith was there from the beginning. Faith works with a promise. Faith is believing God and acting on that belief. The word of God is the promise from the author of your faith. You can be prompted today by faith to do mighty exploits for God. Abraham, Moses, Jacob, Joshua, Sarah, and many others were prompted by faith to obtain what God promised. They were seeking and expecting. Then they acted. That is the key. Many people today are not excited about anything that has to do with God. Instead, people are more concerned about money and other worldly things. But when are we going to get excited about God and His promises? Just like the heroes of the faith conquered much, you and I also will. Faith is an action based on our belief in who God is. Confession for today : Jesus,, let my heart be prompted by faith in You to overcome any attacks from the enemy. Help those around me be prompted by faith to change the culture and not allow the culture change them. In Your mighty name, Amen.
