Day 5; Jesus is.... my Lord Think About: Without first being obedient to Jesus’ word and command, Peter would never have seen this miracle- and may never have become an Apostle for God. Jesus is God and he has the right to tell us what we should do and how we should live. We will miss miracles in our lives if we fail to submit to him. It is wonderful to know that Jesus loves us and wants to be our friend, but we must also choose to make him the Lord of our lives and allow him to correct us and help us grow in character through what he has written in his word and those he has given us to lead us. What now? Think about the past two days. Think about your thoughts, the words you have spoken and how you have treated others (including parents, brothers and sisters, kids at school, teachers). Knowing how Jesus wants to you treat others, have you chosen to follow him- or have others had more influence, including just you, yourself? Pray and ask Jesus to be Lord of your life. Ask him to help you learn his ways and be obedient to his word.
