Exercise
In chapter 6 of the book of Hebrews, the Christians at the time were warned to not go back to the sacrificial system after having "tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age." They were warned in this way because if they went back to making sacrifices, they ultimately would no longer find forgiveness through that system. It was powerless compared to Jesus' final sacrifice on the cross.
Have you ever found it difficult to fully accept the "goodness of the word" which you have received through the Holy Spirit? Have you ever found yourself reverting to some other "system" to prove your worth in the eyes of God? What is that "system" for you? What is God asking you to do now that you have been redeemed through Jesus' blood?
