Mighty God, we deserve destruction, but you choose to offer us hope. Our pride leads us to devastation, yet you wait to show us mercy. Our sin leads us away from you, yet you continue to offer grace. You are Yahweh God, Maker of the Universe; we are your rebellious creation. Yet, you love us—always. We do not understand the depth of your love, but we believe. We believe you are with us, ready to forgive us when we repent, and ready to lead us back to the path of righteousness. May we hold on to You as we go, never running ahead or falling behind, but walking alongside the One who sees every yesterday and every tomorrow and wants nothing more than to spend today with us.
