“Where’s The Life Jacket?” When you feel like life is going crazy and you are being tossed around by stress and deceit – what do you do? Where is your life jacket when you feel like you’re drowning? Read the story in Matthew 8:23-27 of when the disciples encountered their own storm. The truth is that Jesus was with the disciples the entire time. Jesus is with us all the time. His presence is with us, but we tend to lose sight of Him when we allow the circumstances of our day to cloud our view. Then we are left scrambling to find our lifesaver when our boat is sinking. But if we want the storms in our life to be calm, we have to first acknowledge that Jesus is with us and to call on Him. Pray - Pray to God and ask Him to reveal His presence to you throughout your day. - Ask God to come into your everyday situations and give you wisdom on how to handle everything you encounter.
