“Come To Me First” My dear one, whenever you face a difficult question, struggle with a hard issue, or walk through a trial, come to Me before you go to anyone else. Hear My words and prayerfully think about them. So often you do just the opposite. You seek answers, solutions, comfort, and guidance from others before you run to Me. No one else can give you the answers, comfort, or guidance that I can. I will bring My light even to your darkest times. I want you to know that My counsel is not Mine alone; it comes to you directly from the Father. I am delighted when you seek counsel from wise counselors, but come to Me and My words first. My words are spirit and life. They not only provide the perfect counsel; they pour My Spirit and My life into your spirit and life. When you are confused, discouraged, or in despair, the spirit and life you will receive from My words will provide more of what you need than the advice of a thousand counselors.
