SURVIVING IN EVERY SEASON He follows my decrees and faithfully keeps my laws. That man is righteous; he will surely live, declares the Sovereign Lord . (Ezekiel 18:9) What does God seek from the lives of believers? God seeks our faithfulness to follow Him in all circumstances. This is the same with marriage. The key to marriage is the loyalty and faithfulness between husband and wife. We need to be faithful in order to survive in every season of life. If we are less faithful, it means we doubt the ability of God in our lives. God's Word says that doubters and those with divided hearts will get nothing from the Lord. Ezekiel described the Israelites as unfaithful wives. They looked to other countries and finally began to follow the customs of those foreign nations, worshipped their gods and left the Lord who had helped them out of Egypt. They preferred the freedom of the flesh and the sin of a foreign nation over obeying God's command. Their deeds disgusted God, but God was still faithful to the Israelites so that He renewed His covenant with them. Marriage restoration can happen if both members are willing to renew their marriage commitment. Our faithfulness in all seasons will strengthen our life. We need to be faithful in order to survive in every season of life.
