The word of God has the power to pull us from whatever darkness that we have found ourselves surrounded by. This darkness, whether man-made or not, can cover us until we can’t see our hands in front of our faces. But listen to what God said. In 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 the word says that we are delivered from the power and authority of darkness. It states that we cast down all reasoning and imaginations that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God, and we bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of God’s word. Delivered – to have been saved, rescued, or to have set someone or something free. The power and authority of darkness holds no value on us! God has saved us from it’s grip. He has kept us away from the darkness, and has kept us in the light. As a believer, your words and actions are your most powerful weapons. The light that God has instilled in you is bright enough to fight off the darkness around you. You have been enriched, and as such, you must enrich others through the word. You have been delivered from failure! You have been delivered from fear! On days where you can’t see the light, know that it is within you, and that darkness cannot overtake it! What have you been delivered from in your own life? What situations have you been taken out of, and what opportunities have you been delivered to in return? The blessings that God can bring to your life are innumerable. Read and speak his word into existence, and see what you can be delivered from, and into!
