Love God Greatly: EmpoweredSample

Paul could speak of nothing but the gospel of Jesus Christ. Nothing could keep Paul from proclaiming Christ, not even threat of death, false accusations, or arrest. Paul realized all that mattered was to preach Christ and Him crucified. ⁣ ⁣ The great help Paul received from God was a testament to himself of God’s continued faithfulness in his future. Paul’s experiences increased his faith. He drew from God’s past faithfulness when his faith needed strengthening. It was also a testament to those around him that no matter what he faced, God would help him.⁣ ⁣ When we face trials, do we remember God’s faithfulness? God’s faithfulness in the past is a model and a promise of His faithfulness to us in the future. He will continue to deliver us, even when we feel nothing good can come from our situation (2Co 1:9). ⁣ ⁣ Lord God, I trust in Your deliverance. You have delivered me from many things in my past. You have gone before me and protected me. You have always helped me. The sacrifice of Christ on the cross was indeed Your greatest act of faithfulness. Help me proclaim Christ no matter what comes of my life. Amen.  ⁣
