The Royal ClassSample

One of the biggest barriers to us discovering our place in God’s royal family is the lie that we have told ourselves, that humility somehow means we are meant to inhabit the bottom, when in fact we were created to lead. God purposed us to be the head, and not the tail, above and not beneath. In the beginning, God called us to be like Him, through the grace of His Son we are challenged to be Holy as God. Have you ever really considered what it means to be royal? You are chosen. There is no part of you or your life that was accidental or coincidental. You were selected. God was intentional in His designing of you. Before God created man in His image, and to be royal, He created the need for man’s presence on the earth as spiritual royals. In Genesis, before man’s creation was mentioned, God created our loyal subjects: our purpose. “Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind” ; and it was so. God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. God saw that it was good. Then God created man and woman in His image and likeness and then He created the atmosphere or context for mankind to rule. He made a garden and placed man in that garden. The garden represents a place where we could openly commune with God, which is why Christ's sacrifice was necessary once Adam and Eve abdicated their throne and could no longer enjoy the closeness with God and their place in the Kingdom of God. Jesus came in order to give us a re-entry plan into the society of Christ. He did not just allow us citizenship, but He also provided reconciliation, redemption, and regeneration for us as spiritual royals through the miraculous gift of grace that we received through Christ's resurrection. ‭‭ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ Affirmation: I am great. I am intelligent. I am capable. I am creative. I am redeemed. My past does not define me. I am royal because my Father God is royal. The entire earth is His in all of its fullness.
