Life on Mission

DAY 1 OF 7

## Missionaries Did you know God has been at work in South and North Korea? The Gospel first reached the Korean people through foreign missionaries in 1885. God has been on the move because the number of believers in South Korea is amazing. Korea is now sending 30,000+ missionaries to godless places. They even send missionaries to the United States. Isn’t that amazing? How did God call so many missionaries out of Korea? Well, they had a church tradition. At 5 a.m., before heading to work, believers would show up to pray, “Lord, use my day today. Do what You want to do in my day.” God would ripen their hearts to be able to send them to the nations and now the Lord is using them all over the world. There is a Korean proverb that says, “A tiger dies and leaves his coat. A man dies and leaves his name.” Korean Christians live knowing that their name is “believer in Christ.” That is their identity, so they choose to live to share the Gospel. Through this plan, we will read a few verses in Luke chapter 24. I will give you three statements about life on mission. Jesus has a heart for the nations. If you are going to be a follower of Christ, you will also have a heart for the nations. The Word of God says that every nation, tribe, and language will stand before the Lamb and praise His name. We are called on a mission to spread the good news.
