The perfect, tender, loving Father. He sets us free from a spirit of slavery and fear. Yes, fear assails us, but we can say “no” to fear. We are no longer fear’s slave because we are now God’s sons and daughters. We are sons and daughters of the King. So we call him Papa, Daddy, Abba. We bask in his love. We revel in his mercy. We dance in his grace. Believer, see God as Papa. See yourself as adopted, as loved and safe. Rest in the Father’s love.
