# Use your creativity to serve God! If God has given you a talent, use it for His glory! Do you know why? To give Him all the honor He deserves. God Himself demonstrated extraordinary creativity in creating the world. Who hasn’t admired the beauty of a sunset or a spectacular ocean panorama? In the Old Testament, God chose a creative, talented worker to construct the Tabernacle: Bezalel. We read in Exodus 31:1-5, “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Look, I have specifically chosen Bezalel son of Uri, grandson of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts. He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft!’” God says “I have filled him,” meaning He is definitely the One who has given this brilliant artistic talent to men! And His goal is that we use it for a specific purpose: to serve the cause of His Kingdom. When each person answers the call to serve Him with what he/she has received, that’s when our Heavenly Father is glorified! Do you know how to sing, dance, play an instrument, paint, knit, or write?
