Don’t Worry! Worry is hard to avoid, because we're surrounded by things to worry about. Headlines scream of heartbreaking disasters, and social media buzzes with frightening scenarios. We might find ourselves in desperate circumstances caused by events beyond our control or resulting from our own poor choices. Yet piercing through the thick wall of our daily concerns is God's clear and comforting voice saying, "Don't worry." Though a useless platitude coming from the lips of a well-meaning friend, "don't worry" from God's Word is a powerful statement. It reaches out to you with the assurance that, no matter what is happening, He is still in control. Give Him your worries-all of them-and let Him strengthen you with the comfort of His presence. Hand over your feelings of hopelessness, and allow Him to renew your trust in His wisdom. Seek His guidance, and go where He leads. Listen to God's "don't worry," because these aren't just nice-sounding words. They're backed by His powerful promise enough strength to carry you through and His willingness to stay by your side every step of the way.
