Take No Thought.

DAY 1 OF 3

Take No Thought. “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Matthew‬ ‭6:34‬ ‭KJV Why worry about things that you‬‬ cannot change. When you worry, you begin to worship your problem. According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Thought” is, ‘ merimnaō ’ (G3309) which means, “to be anxious or to be troubled with cares.” A worry is a care that has not been “cast” to God. ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ states, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Cast” is, ‘ epiriptō ’ (G1977) which means, “To throw upon (literally or figuratively).” Throw your cares to God. Cast your worries over to Him. When you hold on to your cares they begin to weigh you down. God doesn’t want you to carry that weight. Don’t hold on to that pressure. Don’t invite the spirit of heaviness to loom over you. Choose to cast your cares, fears, worries, anxieties and doubts over to God. There is a difference between planning and worrying. Luke‬ ‭14:28‬ ‭KJV‬‬ states, “For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?” Planning is not worrying. Planning is proper stewardship over an opportunity or resource. Proverbs‬ ‭12:27‬ ‭KJV‬‬ states, “The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.” Plan in faith, execute with wisdom, and choose not to worry.
