From Beginning to EndSample

God is so angry with the people that he tells Moses he needs to keep his distance from them or he will destroy them. Moses pleads with God to continue to be near his people and even asks that he be allowed to see God’s glory.
Moses longing for God’s presence is a great example for us. He is not satisfied to have God provide for them and protect them; he wants God nearby. Would you have been satisfied to have God provide for you and protect you, or would you have insisted on God’s presence as well?

About this Plan

This is part one of a four-part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one story from beginning to end of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
