DAY 5 OF 20

We sometimes think that living life the way God wants us to live means following a bunch of boring rules. And honestly, sometimes it feels that way! Sometimes following God does mean saying “no” to something that seems fun or exciting. But the truth is that anytime we say “yes” to what God wants for us—even if we don’t realize it at the time—it means we’re ultimately saying “yes” to more freedom. When we experience that true freedom by saying “yes” to what God has called us to—things like loving and serving others—we will ultimately be living the fullest, most exciting lives possible. Is there something you need to say “no” to in your life in order to say “yes” to the freedom God has for you? Share that with a friend and ask them to help you take a step toward that “yes” this week.
