## TROPHIES (Part 2) Yesterday we spent some time recognizing the blessings in our life and giving God the glory for them. Today we’re going to talk about taking those trophies off of the shelf and finding ways to use them to reach God’s people. While this may look different for each person reading this, we need to first have an open mind and a softened heart. If you just received that job you’ve been praying for, hallelujah! It’s good to celebrate that, but why does God have you in that position? Maybe you’re being called to be a light in that job. Maybe a fellow coworker is struggling with depression, anxiety, a broken marriage, or addiction and needs to hear the hope of Jesus. If you passed an exam with flying colors, praise The Lord! How can you use that knowledge? There may be a fellow classmate who struggles in school. They come from a broken home, they wear the same outfit to school because they have no money. They eat free meals provided by the school at lunch and eat alone. You have an opportunity to not only help them academically but to spend time with them. You are given a chance to show and share the love of Jesus with someone who may not have a clue what love is because they have never even been shown love at home. We’re not called to be ‘holier than thou’ people. Don’t let your blessings place you in a position where we are too busy or too good to help those who are in need. Jesus calls us to make disciples of ALL nations! Focus: Today, lets continue to give God the glory for our blessings. Let’s take it a step further as well. What are some blessings that you have received that need to be taken off your shelf and used to reach God’s people? Start praying today about how God can use you and those blessings to share the hope of Jesus.
