## Trust ‘You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.’ Thank God. Trust is a natural part of everyday life. A client emails to confirm an appointment on Friday – I go because of trust in both their written commitment and past experience of their reliability. Yet to go to the meeting on another day and 'trust' that they would turn up would be foolish – I have no reason to expect this. Trust is not 'wishful thinking' nor is it ignoring the facts. So it is with God – to 'trust' him for things where he has given us no commitment is presumption; to trust his word is faith.
