When you put your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation from the consequences of sin, God becomes your Heavenly Father.  As if that weren’t enough, He throws in brothers and sisters to boot, a ready-made family with eternal ties.  However, membership in God’s family is a privilege that comes with responsibility.

This week’s journal took me longer than any other week to write and I got so frustrated. Suddenly I realized the topic was patience! It made me laugh out loud. How often do we lose patience? Every day? Let’s jump in and see what the Lord says about Patience, but don’t be rushed about it! Take your time….

Being rejected makes us feel like curling up like a worm in the heat of sunlight. But there’s something more important than our ego. It’s where the person we want to reach will spend eternity.
