PASSION FOR THE LOST: FACTS ABOUT PASSION (2)
We will continue where we stopped yesterday on facts about passion.
3. Passion can die if you neglect it and fail to stir it up: You need to continually feed and stir up your passion if it will not die. It will take some effort from you just like you must be adding the right materials to a fire that is started to keep it on; that is, the kindling that keeps the fire going.
4.If passion dies out, you can rekindle it like you rekindle the fire: Don’t allow the devil to preach a wrong message to you concerning your lost passion. There is restoration in Zion. The fire can be rekindled, and fresh passion can come upon your altar from the Lord.
Steps to Rekindle Lost Passion
Step 1: Repent of the lost passion. This can be likened to when you want to start a fire that used to burn. You have to clear all the ashes, and this signifies repentance. Don’t stay in that low state. Go to God and ask Him to forgive you. Get on your knees in the place of prayer. If you want to fan coals of fire to flame, you kneel and blow into it. Pray for a restoration of that passion. He is your Restorer when you come to Him genuinely.
Step 2: After this, you bring fire to the elements of your passion. How do you bring fire to the elements of your passion? We shall consider that from tomorrow.
PRAYER: I receive divine restoration for every area where I have lost passion for the things of God in Jesus’ name. Amen!
