Forgiveness is a prerequisite for favor, and it is activated by our repentance.
The good news is that forgiveness is free through the blood of Jesus!
We repent by acknowledging the wrong we've done—in our thoughts, through our words, or by what we've done—and the sins we've committed; we ask God to forgive us by the power within the perfect blood of Jesus; and we turn from our wicked ways to walk the path of obedience.
To obtain favor in your life today, first, repent. This is not a once-and-done process. Repentance should be our response to every fault in our human nature that contradicts God's Word. It is the process by which the blood of Jesus cleanses us so that we are able to walk uprightly before God our Father.
