Words matter. What we say and our intention behind our words matter. We´re going to be looking carefully at the things we say in this four-week study, and the best way to start our study is with the most important words in the world: God´s Words. It was by the power of His words that the world was created. It is by the eternity of His words that we can trust every promise made to us in the Bible.
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away” – Matthew 24:35
Everything will fade away. We, as humans, will perish. Our earthly possessions will be gone. However, God´s Word is eternal, as He is eternal. When God speaks, things become a reality (Psalm 33:9). What are those things that God has spoken to your heart? What promises has He made personally to you? His Words will never pass away; He will always be true.
Heavenly Father, I praise You. I want to start this study by bringing You all the glory and praise. Help me learn the truths about the words You have for me in the weeks to come. In Jesus’ name, amen.

We will learn to honor God and others with the words that we speak. We pray this study gives us great insight into how we can consistently speak words that give life and transform lives.
