THE POWER OF SAME

The Fire Inside

Just love Jesus.

With all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.

If we can do that, we'll love others.

If we do both, that's all we need to start living a life for God.

If we do it again, we'll make a difference.

If we keep doing it, we'll change the world.

Jesus doesn't change. He's the Son of God, sent to save the world from our sin. Though He's not physically present anymore, His Holy Spirit lives inside us. And, through His Spirit and His Word, He's still doing the same work that He did while He was here on earth.

When we want to grow our faith, or live for God, or jolt ourselves out of a spiritual rut, we may not need the courage to try something new. Instead, Jesus might be calling us to realize the strength of doing the same thing - loving Him with all we've got - again and again.

Over the next four weeks, unlock the Power of Same in your life, and establish a habit of fulfilling Jesus' greatest command: loving Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Pray:

God, Thank You for Your unchanging nature. You knew of me before I ever knew of You, and You had plans to save me and introduce me to a new life. Thank You for Your Son, Jesus, and I pray that You will draw me closer to You as I learn what it means to love You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.
