In all the holiday hustle and bustle, it can be easy to lose sight of why we’re celebrating. In this 5-day advent plan, we’ll dive into the promises fulfilled by the birth of Jesus and the hope we have for the future. As we learn more about who God is, we’ll discover how to live through the holiday season with hope, faith, joy, and peace.

This three week plan walks us through the timeless wonder of how God came to us through His son, Jesus. The plan is designed to begin on a Monday so that each weekend will include shorter content meant for rest and reflection during the holiday season. Join us as we study what the birth of Christ means for our future, present, and past.

Gott hat schon immer Bünde mit Seinem Volk geschlossen. Er schenkte Verheißungen, Belege Seiner Treue und Anlässe zu glauben und zu hoffen. In Christus erfüllen sich alle Verheißungen Gottes. Jesus ist die Antwort auf all Seine Versprechen. Er ist der ewige Bund, auf den wir gewartet haben. Durch Ihn haben wir Frieden, Hoffnung, Gewissheit, eine Zukunft, sind wir gerecht gesprochen und gehören zu Ihm. Er ist unser ewiger Bund.

"Am Anfang war ..." ist eine sechswöchige Bibelarbeit über die ersten elf Kapitel des 1. Buch Mose. Gott überrascht nichts. Von Anfang an plante Er, Leben auf der Erde zu schaffen. Von Anfang an schuf Er den Menschen nach Seinem Bild. Von Anfang an wollte Er, dass jeder von uns eine Beziehung zu Ihm hätte. Und von Anfang an hatte Er einen Erlösungsplan für uns.
