Our God is infinite. He is without beginning or end, without measure or limit. Revelation 1:8 says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Only the Word of God could help us to grasp this attribute. God never began, and He will never have an end. Psalm 90:2 reminds us, “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.” He existed far before the earth!

God has been perfectly whole and perfectly Himself for eternity past, and He will be for eternity future! Our human minds cannot grasp this fully; we must trust Scripture to truly understand who God is!
