What authority guides the local church?
The Bible is not just advice or a suggestion. It is God’s inspired Word, breathed out by Him, and it carries full authority for the believer and the church.
This means the church does not stand on opinions, traditions, or culture. It stands on the Word of God. The Bible shows us what to believe, where we are wrong, how to get right, and how to stay right.
Every decision a church makes must be aligned with the Word of God. The church is strongest when it is fully submitted to Scripture.
How do you apply that truth today? First, make the Bible your foundation. Then, read it, believe it, and obey it. A church that follows God’s Word will never lose its way.
