Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God Providesنموونە

When addiction breaks promises, God keeps His.
The stream of broken promises flooding from addiction never runs dry. Addiction promises to ease your pain. Instead, it can break your heart into millions of pieces. Addiction promises to calm your worries. Until you start worrying about getting caught. Addiction promises to make life bearable. Then, addiction takes your life piece by piece. What starts as a way to cope becomes the very thing that consumes you.
But even in the wreckage of addiction, God remains faithful. When every promise around you breaks, His promise stands firm. He doesn’t pull away when you fall short. He doesn’t revoke His love when you relapse. He remembers His promise — to love you, to redeem you, and to never leave you. No matter how far you wander from Him, He will always keep His promise and welcome you back with open arms.
Prayer
God, forgive me of my sins. Forgive me for wandering away from You. I’ve followed empty promises that only left me broken. But I know now that Your promises are the only ones I can trust. Thank you for never leaving me. Amen.
