Addiction Rewritten: Addiction Takes, God Providesنموونە

When addiction misdirects your hope, God provides a future.
Addiction distorts hope by offering temporary relief in place of lasting healing. It convinces your heart to settle for survival rather than restoration. The future begins to feel distant or unreachable, like something already forfeited. Slowly, lies settle in — that the best you can hope for is another day of numbness.
But God speaks into the ruins with promise. His plans are not erased by detours or destruction. He remains faithful to give what addiction cannot: a future marked by peace, purpose, and healing. Where lies confuse your hope for the future, His truth reveals His path for you.
Prayer
God, I admit that sometimes it’s hard to see past the mess. Addiction has taken so much, and it’s easy to feel like there’s no future left. But I know You still have a plan for me. Help me let go of the lies and hold on to Your truth. Show me the way forward, one step at a time. Amen.
