Day 28: From Surviving to Thriving

"He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season… whatever he does prospers." Psalm 1:1–3

For many of us, survival mode is a way of life. Maybe it's all we have ever known.

We’ve been through trauma. We’ve lived in crisis. We’ve pushed through with a dysregulated nervous system. And while survival helped us get from one day to another, it was never meant to be how we live in Christ.

God didn’t create you to just cope - He created you to flourish.

Psalm 1 gives us a picture of what thriving looks like: being rooted near living water, nourished by God’s Word, yielding fruit in season.

Not constantly hustling. Not producing for performance. But steadily growing because of where you’re planted. In Christ. Led by the Spirit.

This is not fruit that you can produce on your own. It requires you to abide in Christ. To be filled by the Spirit. To stay connected to God.

Thriving looks like being deeply rooted in your identity. Experiencing peace that doesn’t hinge on circumstances. Moving with joy in the mundane because God is with you in it.. Having the courage to set biblical boundaries that promote healthy relationships. Living with the hope of promises fulfilled.

You’re allowed to release survival mode. You’re safe in Christ.

He is our living water, longing to produce fruit in our lives as we root in Him.
