WEEK 2: Planting Truth in Hard Soil

Focus: Replacing lies with the truth of God’s Word to re-root our identity.

Day 12: God’s Strength in Your Weakness

"He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength... they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength." Isaiah 40:29-31

There are days when we don’t have anything left to give.

No more energy. No more clarity. No more hope.

And the world tells us to push harder, to hustle our way to breakthrough. The world wants us to run until there is nothing left. This is why we see burnout all around.

But God offers us something radically different.

He invites us to wait.

Not in passivity, but in faith.

In the Kingdom of God, weakness isn’t failure - it’s an invitation. An open door for God to pour His strength into our surrendered hearts.

Isaiah reminds us that strength isn’t mustered up. It’s received. When we stop pretending we have it all together, when we drop the mask of self-sufficiency, that’s when God lifts us up on wings like eagles.

His strength doesn’t run out. His endurance doesn’t falter. And when we align ourselves with His pace, we find that the race we’re running doesn’t deplete us. It develops us.

So if today you feel weak, empty, or done - you’re in the perfect position for God to show up in power. The question is, are you willing to wait? In a world that shouts to do more, be more, will you surrender and abide?

Reflection Questions:

  • Where do you feel weakest right now?
  • What would it mean to let God carry you?
  • How can you wait on the Lord this week?

Rooted: 30 Days to Strengthen Your Faith Through Struggle

We often view struggle as a bad thing to be avoided. Who wants pain, right? But what if it's in the struggle that God does some of his best refining work? What if it's in the struggle we are strengthened for the journey ahead? Jesus told us we would have trials - but we can take heart because we never walk the valley's alone. Join me for 30 days as we travel through scripture and strengthen our faith together in the face of struggle.
