When you make Jesus your greatest delight, God begins to fulfill the new desires that He has placed in your heart.

✍️ Devotional Thought
Everyone delights in something — work, hobbies, family, success. But Scripture calls us to make Jesus our greatest delight. “Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4).

Delighting in Jesus means more than enjoying His blessings; it means enjoying Him. It looks like spending daily, intimate time with Him, walking in obedience, and guarding against “joy blockers” like sin, worry, or selfishness. When Jesus is your joy, those barriers lose their grip.

As you delight in Him, your desires are reshaped. God places new longings in your heart — to serve, to give, to love, to share. Suddenly, what you once chased no longer satisfies, and what Jesus desires becomes what you desire. True joy is not found in getting everything you want, but in wanting everything He gives.
