Jesus desires to have a relationship with you.

✍️ Devotional Thought
The very first invitation Jesus gave to His disciples was, “Come and see.” With those words, He revealed that His call is not about religious performance, but about relationship. Following Jesus is not about a list of rules to keep, but about a Person to know.

The Bible says that Andrew and another disciple immediately followed Him and spent the rest of the day with Him. That’s what discipleship is: spending time with Jesus, walking with Him, learning from Him, and being changed by Him. This is the starting point for every Christ-follower.

The truth is, we all desire meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. We search for it in work, in success, in relationships, or in pleasure. But the only place our deepest longings are satisfied is in Jesus Himself. He is the meaning of life. Without Him, life is empty—no matter what we try to fill it with.

Jesus’ invitation is the same for you today: “Come and see.” Jesus invites you to follow Him, not just admire Him from a distance. The adventure of a lifetime begins when you respond to Jesus' call to a thriving relationship with the one who loves you the most.

Lord, thank You that You invite me to come and see. I don’t want to just know about You; I want to know You. Help me to slow down, set aside distractions, and walk with You today. Amen.
